uber-slick GIFs for Diesel ‘The Neo-Neoclassic’ campaign

Diesel’s artistic director Nicola Formichetti has teamed up with photographer Nick Knight (y’know, the guy who shot THAT Kimye vid), creating a series of uber-slick GIFs for the denim brand’s Pre-Fall 2014 campaign, The Neo-Neoclassic. The collab follows the success of last year’s #DIESELTRIBUTE campaign, where the duo shot and edited GIFs with an iPhone—only this time around, classic and digital aesthetics are fused with inspiration borrowed from art history. Creatives model a range of Diesel garms like leather bikers and dark denim skinnies, as images are manipulated with warped effects or futurist visions—Formichetti calls this style “pop Picasso.”1402670325TRICKED_OUT_DESIGNER_GIFS_OF_THE_WEEK
